Give your picture a colorful glow
First, you need to open up the picture you want to use. For this, I'm going to be using Tim Armstrong:
You may also use this photo to test this tutorial out, if you'd like. Lets move on!
Ok, after opening up your picture, make a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N, for you lazies).

Next, select a SOFT brush to use. It doesn't matter what size you choose, for this, I chose 200px. Depending on your photo, you might have to select either a bigger brush, or a smaller brush. You can always customize your brush size by dragging the bar under the 200px.

For this, I chose the color red. You can choose any color you like. Pick a place you want to put your glow, and just stamp it there on LAYER 1, like so!

Now, set LAYER 1 to screen, by clicking on the drop down menu on the layers box.

And ta-da! All done! Here's your result:

NOTE: You can add as many color spots as you like, and you may use different sizes. It all depends on you, and how you'd like your picture to look!
